The Redheaded Woodpecker has a very special place in our family history.  Back in the 70s when my parents bought this little cabin, we lived in South Florida.  We would travel to North Carolina on every vacation.  Fast forward nearly 50 years, and one major renovation! Our family has made memories to last a lifetime, spanning five decades and four generations.  Our hope is that you will make memories of your own in this lovely and peaceful place.
